About this map:

This map shows the locations of ponding basins in northern Guam. The source of geospatial data used is the Bureau of Statistics and Plans (BSP), Government of Guam. Locations were determined based on visual inspection of LiDAR-derived DEM and hillshade and satellite imagery (mainly WorldView2 by Digital Globe). Note that many ponding basins may have originated as natural features (karst sinkholes) whose contours have been altered.
