About this map:

This map offers a simplified look at the soils of northern Guam. It shows the extent of different types of soil grouped by general location. It was derived from the detailed soil map published in the Soil Survey of the Territory of Guam (1985), by the USDA Soil Conservation Service (SCS, but now NRCS – Natural Resources Conservation Service) in cooperation with Guam Department of Commerce and University of Guam (UOG).
