About this map:

This map shows the extent of cliffs in northern Guam in conjunction with hillshaded terrain (hypsometric tinted shaded relief). The lines indicating cliffs were digitized by hand for the purposes of this atlas, based on visual interpretation of the representation of degree of slope made from 4-m resolution LiDAR-derived DEM. The original LiDAR data were collected in 2007 by JALBTX for the Government of Guam. Cliffs are taken to generally have a slope greater than 60 degrees.
