About this map:

This map shows the bare land in northern Guam and includes areas whose surface is composed of bare soil, rock, sand, silt, gravel, or other earthen material with little or no vegetation. It also includes burned areas, which are uncommon in northern Guam but frequent in the southern Guam, especially during the dry season. The source of the geospatial data is the land cover classification by NOAA Coastal Change Analysis Program (C-CAP) (2011).
